We implement a collaborative planning process involving the Information Systems staff, Executives, Physicians, Nursing, Fiscal Services and other major departments. We work with your organization to identify the difference between your current state and an optimal state. We create precise road-maps to achieve exemplary integration, while mindful of staffing needs, budgets, time-lines and priorities.
Our approach to planning builds upon your existing investment in the MEDITECH HCIS, understanding how to leverage and maximize the benefits and value of this system and supporting the alignment of resources with expectations. We often include MEDITECH in the planning process as many of our clients have not taken full advantage of what is provided by this vendor.
As part of our planning process for current MEDITECH Magic hospitals, we will help you evaluate if and/or when you might consider migrating to 6.0. For some Magic hospitals, we have found that they can meet their needs by more fully utilizing the current and planned capabilities of this platform while other hospitals find that they are more able to achieve their goals by migrating to 6.0. In each case, we assist with helping clarify goals and benefits along with risks and costs associated with your decision.
Further, we maintain extensive and on-going research on other vendors to provide both information on products that complement the MEDITECH HCIS as well as comparative data on other vendors. We believe that MEDITECH is the best choice for most healthcare organizations from application functionality, integration, value and cost of ownership perspectives and support these findings with industry data and our own research. We can also provide one-day sessions of our findings for executives and board of directors.
