Fort Madison Community Hospital Selects NHA as 6.0 to 6.15 Migration Consulting Partner

April 2017

Navin, Haffty & Associates (NHA) has been selected by Fort Madison Community Hospital (FMCH) of Fort Madison, Iowa as its MEDITECH 6.0 to 6.15 Acute and Web Ambulatory migration consulting partner. The 50- bed hospital is dedicated to improving the health of Fort Madison and the surrounding communities and has been named a Top Iowa Workplace by the Des Moines Register for the past five years.

FMCH is currently utilizing MEDITECH’s 6.07 platform in the acute setting and Greenway’s Prime Suite (practice management system) in the ambulatory setting.

According to FMCH’s CIO Shane Tapper, “FMCH is committed to providing the very best care for our patients while ensuring a rewarding work environment for our providers. With this in mind, implementing one EMR system organization-wide become a priority project for 2017, resulting in better communication and quality outcomes. Once the decision was made that MEDITECH would be that system, our goal was to make the implementation as seamless for our patients and providers as possible. We feel engaging the support of Navin, Haffty and Associates will help us achieve that goal.”

As MEDITECH’s first and most experienced READY-certified consulting firm, NHA is the proud recipient of the prestigious 2015/2016 Best in KLAS award for HIT Enterprise Implementation Leadership, a recognition which underscores our differentiation in the MEDITECH READY implementation consulting services market. Having been named the first READY-certified consulting firm by MEDITECH nearly two years prior to any other firm’s certification, we remain the only READY-certified firm with an exclusive focus on the MEDITECH EHR.

The project kicks off this month with an anticipated Go LIVE in February 2018.
