Upper Chesapeake Health is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for its Materials Management Department. Responsibilities of this position will include the management and maintenance of electronic inventory dictionaries, project coordination and database management reporting. The incumbent will be involved in all aspects of the Materials Management information system (Meditech) to include database controls, inventory management, and patient charges relative to services provided. The qualified candidate will possess an Associates Degree (Bachelors degree Preferred), four years of inventory, Meditech database and/or project management experience preferably in a healthcare environment along with a demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology. The ideal candidate will also possess an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong critical thinking and negotiation ability. A strong commitment to service excellence and the desire to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, co-workers, vendors and physicians is required.
