Technical Analyst
This position will assist in implementation and maintenance of MEDITECH’s admitting, billing and
scheduling application systems, as well as third-party and in-house developed scripting utilities
related to electronic claims submittal and remittance. Major responsibilities include system
integration, system conversions, maintenance and support.
Requirements include: Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management
Information Systems preferred; healthcare-related experience in one or more of the following areas
preferred: admissions, scheduling, patient billing, patient accounting, coding and/or third party billing;
experience and programming skills in object-oriented systems using tools such as Visual Basic,
Sequel 2007 and other contemporary languages; proficiency with Word, Excel and other Microsoft
personal productivity products; previous experience working with MEDITECH’s Client Server products
a strong plus; strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple
assignments; limited travel may be required.
Functional Analyst
This position will provide functional support to assist in the implementation and maintenance of
MEDITECH’s admitting, billing and scheduling modules. Major responsibilities will include project
management and coordination with the hospitals and the Information Services Center. The incumbent
will work in collaboration with various levels of hospital personnel and project teams to implement the
various modules. After implementation, the Functional Analyst will assist in testing, maintenance and
support of applications.
Requirements include: Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management
Information Systems preferred; healthcare-related experience in one or more of the following areas
preferred: admissions, scheduling, patient billing, patient accounting, coding and/or third party billing;
experience with Medicare, Medicaid, CPT-4, EDI, EFT, Electronic Billing, patient care and collections
a plus; strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and
lead teams; extensive travel to support hospitals in Illinois and Wisconsin during implementation.
