Location: Conifer Park Hospital
Job Summary:
Assist with ongoing maintenance and support of Meditech modules and related equipment. Provide backup for clinical and administrative module issues when primary support staff is not available. Assist with implementation of new modules, functionality and system upgrades. Provide technical support related to Meditech modules.
Essential Functions:
1. Assist in maintenance of Meditech applications, including dictionary updates and system modifications.
2. Maintain fundamental functionality of major clinical and administrative modules in order to be able to troubleshoot software system issues and work with end users to resolve issues.
3. Participate in testing, implementation, documentation and training of new functionality, modules and upgrades.
4. Troubleshoot issues related to background jobs, client updates, mapped drives and restoring files on bridgehead.
5. Assist in hardware evaluation and setup related to Meditech modules. Troubleshoot issues related to devices that Meditech utilizes.
6. Write reports with NPR. Utilize NPR and Monarch in order to analyze and resolve issues.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, previous Meditech experience a plus, clinical experience a plus, ability to work in past paced environment.
